The History of Hemp
Hemp has a storied history in the mid-atlantic region, and around the world as well. Hemp is incredibly sustainable and versatile. It can be used for fiber (to make cloth, rope, etc), bedding, mulch, hempcrete (a concrete alternative), food, paper, seed or CBD oil, and many other things. Hemp has been a staple crop for many cultures throughout history. It is only recently that there has been any controversy over hemp, and only due to harsh laws on Marijuana that inadvertently made it harder to grow and profit from hemp.
